Practically Genius 2021 has come to a close. Though we’re sad the event is over, we’re feeling absolutely inspired by all the fantastic lessons, stories, and insights shared by our customers, partners, and guest speakers over these last two days. If you missed the final day of the event, here’s a breakdown of the top takeaways:

Guest Keynote with Stephanie Mehta

Stephanie Mehta started us off by sharing “The Secrets of the Best Workplaces for Innovators.” As Editor-in-Chief of Fast Company, Stephanie oversees stories shared by business leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs. This gives her an insider’s perspective on what makes the most cutting-edge companies tick.

Stephanie shared a plethora of stories, real-life examples, and easy-to-emulate tools from organizations that have been unlocking genius and innovation in all areas of their business. One of the most important lessons she emphasized is that companies today need to foster a culture that makes all employees feel included and empowered. Employees at all levels want to make impactful contributions, and if you give them the tools and environment to do so, your company will see greater success and unlock the potential to be truly innovative.

Breakout Panel Discussions

After Stephanie’s inspiring keynote, we hosted our final two panel breakout discussions. These sessions explored how organizations can adapt to shifting expectations and new ways of working, both within and without.

In the first panel, “Empowering Teams with Digital Tools,” leaders from University of Tennessee Medical Center, NBC Sports Next, and Quickbase looked at how businesses are using automation and digital tools to eliminate process bottlenecks, improve efficiency across teams, and empower non-technical employees.

In the final panel, “Transforming the Customer Experience with Data,” industry experts from Chicago Fire Football Club, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and Zoho discussed how to optimize your business’s data strategy and use the information you collect to rethink the customer journey and create seamless experiences at every touchpoint.

We heard some fantastic insights across both panels, with no-code tools and their versatility being a hot topic.

Not sure what no-code tools are? Here’s what you need to know.

Formstack Build Sessions

Next, our product teams took a deep dive into Formstack’s platform and products during our Formstack Build sessions. Attendees were able to get an inside look at using Formstack to build creative solutions to their toughest workflow challenges. Products that were highlighted include Formstack Platform, Formstack for Salesforce, and our integrations with Microsoft

If you missed these sessions, we highly recommend taking a peek at the recordings! In addition to breakdowns on popular features and how each product works, we shared some use case examples you can potentially implement for your next task or project.

Practically Genius Awards

Finally, we ended the day by hosting our very first Practically Genius Awards ceremony. The Practically Genius Awards were created to showcase the most innovative organizations using Formstack’s digitization and workflow automation processes. We were absolutely thrilled to read through all the entries, and it was difficult picking the winners. However, this year’s winners truly transformed their business operations and customer experience through unique solutions in their industries. For a full breakdown of the winners in each category, check out this blog post.

That’s a Wrap!

Overall, Practically Genius 2021 was absolutely phenomenal, and we couldn’t have done it without the help of our amazing customers, partners, and guest speakers. Thank you to everyone who attended and participated. We look forward to seeing all the wonderful ways your organizations continue to reimagine their world of work throughout the rest of this year and beyond, and we hope we’ll see you at Practically Genius 2022!
